Browsing topics

Open full-list views of trending papers and the papers you are currently reading.

The home page surfaces papers in compact carousels. When a carousel has more papers than fit on screen, a topic page gives you the full, scrollable list in one place.

What a topic page is

A topic page is a dedicated, full-width list view for one of the home page sections. There are two topic pages currently:

  • Trending Papers: the latest research papers curated from the community feed.
  • Currently Reading: papers you have opened recently, with the most recent first.

Each page shows papers as a vertical list with titles, authors, abstracts, and like and view counts.

Reaching a topic page

On the home page, find the Trending or Continue Reading carousel. Both have a See All link in the top-right corner, and the carousels also end with a Show all link after the last card. Click either one to open the matching topic page.

You can also navigate directly:

  • /topics/trending for the Trending Papers list
  • /topics/currently-reading for the Currently Reading list

Loading more papers

Topic pages load papers in pages of 20. If there are more results, a Load More button appears at the bottom of the list. Click it to append the next batch without leaving the page.

Opening a paper from a topic page

Click any paper in the list to open it in the Reader. From there you can read the full text, chat with the paper, and more.

Currently Reading and sign-in

The Currently Reading page is personal to your account. If you are signed out, it shows a prompt to sign in so your reading progress can be tracked. Trending Papers is public and works whether or not you are signed in.

Tips

  • Use the topic pages when a home page carousel feels too cramped to browse comfortably.
  • Currently Reading is the quickest way to pick up a paper you started earlier without searching for it again.
  • For a wider view of your reading activity over time, see your profile.
